Love the life you live, and live the life you love

Love the life you live, and live the life you love
Dance as though no one is watching, love as though you've never been hurt before, sing as though no one's listening and live as though heaven's on earth

Hello...

Hi - I'm Emma and welcome to my little blog, (quite new to this so please be kind).  Painting in Pearls is a blog dedicated to my love of interior design and style, painting anything that will stand still long enough to be painted.  Also to be featured are other loves of mine - keeping fit and healthy and the many different workouts I've tried and use regulary, plus lots of other lovely "things" like candles, cooking, baking, and gorgeous beauty products - bit of a junkie in that department!!
The pearls part of the title comes from my style icon, the utterly gorgeous late Audrey Hepburn - pearls is just the epitome of style for me.

You may wondering who I am - I'm a 30 something (late - we'll just leave it there) - married to (in my opinion) the most gorgeous, talented, patient man.  Yes he would need patience to put up with me for so long.  We've been married 4 years and live in a converted bungalow with our cat Baghira.  We're hoping and praying our hopes and dreams come true and that we may be bleseed with a baby, our fingers and toes have been crossed for a long long time now, but we live in hope a miracle just may happen.  If I'm brave enough maybe I can share some of our "fertility" journey in a later post.

Slowly we've changed and re-decorated the house from top to bottom - adding a top, by converting the loft which now has a large bedroom, separate dressing room and en-suite.  (Think this will be a blog feature at some point).  We've knocked down walls, and put up walls, dug holes and filled holes in to shape our home and garden.  The latest edition this year was our deck - my husband's pride and joy with his third love of his life, (hope its me then the cat!) his Wisteria - yes he is the Wisteria Whisperer!!

Graduating from Univeristy some 17 years ago - I'm still trying to decide "what do I want to do" - however I know what I don't want to do.   I've always shared a love of interior design stemming from my mum's subscription to 25 Beautiful Homes many years ago - think she still has all her editions stored in her loft!  Acouple of years ago I completed an on-line diploma in Interior Design and this just ignited my passion even more.

I think this may be my first brave step into something quite new...

Thankyou and hope you can stop by soon
